QSL stats update: Round 5

AFTER five rounds of the Queensland State League (QSL) there are a couple of new faces that join the ranks in terms to top performers as Draft Central casts an eye over the standouts in each major area for both the Men’s and Women’s leagues.

USC Rip City representative Maddison Rocci has been in scintillating form dominating the points tally with a competition high average of 34.83 while also imposing herself on the rebounding front with 11.33. Ashleigh Karaitiana is another one having an impressive season, sitting second for rebounds with 13.2 while Mikaela Ruef is dominating for Logan Thunder taking out top spot for rebounds with an average of 14.6 to her name and racking up the blocks with 1.2. Stephanie Reid has been a solid contributor featuring highly in the points (27.0) and assists columns thanks to her read of the play and attacking nature while the efforts of Madelyn Willey have not gone unnoticed in the five rounds so far imposing herself in all facets of the game amassing an average of 23.17 points, 5.17 assists and leading the way when it comes to blocks with an average of four.

MENS

Harry Froling continued his dominant start to the season claiming top spot for average points with (32.2) and rebounds (18.4) while also featuring in the top five for assists with 5.8 highlighting just how well rounded he is across the court. RedCity Roar teammate, William McDowell-White kept up the good work sitting on an average of 25.2 points, 11.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists while also claiming top for steals 4.4. Jarred Bairstow made his way into the top five for points with an average of 23.83 while also featuring highly in the rebounds column. The ever reliable Jason Cadee also plied his trade when it came to steals and assists for Brisbane as Christopher Cedar moved from third in the competition for average assists to number one with 6.5
