MUVJBL Girls: Championship Division teams

THE final four teams have qualified for the Melbourne United Victorian Junior Basketball League (MUVJBL) championship division across both the Under 18s and Under 16s Girls.

In the Under 18 Girls, three of the higher ranked sides in their respective pools advanced, with Frankston, Melbourne and Warrandyte all moving through, while third placed in Pool A, McKinnon also advanced after a four-point win over Waverley.

Under 18 Girls Crossover Round Results:

Waverley (42) defeated by McKinnon (46)
Melbourne (58) defeated Werribee (40)
Warrandyte (43) defeated Ringwood (37)

In the Under 16 Girls, the top two ranked sides in Pool A and B beat Melbourne and Dandenong’s second sides, with Bendigo and Ringwood advancing. In the later pools, both third placed sides got up in upsets, with Southern Peninsula and Sunbury both recording comprehensive wins over Wangaratta and Casey respectively to move through to the championship division.
